Choices for Higher Education
When I was a graduate student at M.I.T., both M.I.T. and Harvard had unfair reputations:
M.I.T.: students totally absorbed in technology, to the exclusion of everything else
Harvard: students totally absorbed in theory, arts, philosophy, social systems, etc., to the exclusion of anything practical
