classical searching and sorting algorithms

Math 204 Algorithms and Software Design

Algorithms and data structures

Large program development
Also, in 1983, three new upperlevel courses:

Math 301 Algorithms

Prerequisite: Math 203 and 218 (Combinatorics)

Math 302 Programming Language Concepts

Math 341 Automata, Formal Languages, and Computational Complexity

Prerequisite: Math 203 and 215 (Lin. Alg.)
