George Spelvin

When the same actor plays two roles in a theatrical production, but the integrity of the plot requires that the audience be unaware of this fact until it is revealed on stage, the list of players traditionally credits the lesser role to ``George Spelvin.''

In other words, I am a false front, a stand-in, a mockup. I am no more real than an e-mail address and a presence on the World Wide Web can make me.
