Some class sessions will begin with unannounced quizzes on the reading. The quizzes will consist of straightforward questions on the explicit content of the readings rather than interpretive matters. The quizzes will take place at the beginning of class, and I will not allow extra time or make-up quizzes. Come to class on time.
