We will go out to Depot for a lunch meeting on Monday.

Sam passed around a piece of paper for us to sign committing ourselves to future work (about 3 hours worth) reviewing the Multimedia Labs. This also earned us an advance $20 since Sam has to turn in a report to the college on the money spent with those labs.

The uselog is now publicly available.

We are now trying to end every report with at least two goals for each person to work on until the next meeting.

We should all make an effort to appropriately use header tags.

Reports

Sam

Sam received the run-around while looking for information on us receiving college credit for the summer. He will continue to dig until they give us the credit. Solved.

Sam got Hyperwave installed and running on able.math.grin.edu. He will add some pages in the near future for us to look at and evaluate Hyperwave.

Goals

• Get Multimedia Labs ready
• Set up some sample documents in Hyperwave
• Talk to Dean's office

Kevin:

Kevin now has Passwords working. You can log in at http://www.math.grin.edu/~mclaughl/hyper/applet/login.html. Our default passwords are "hyper".

Goals:

• Start thinking about groups
• Make webpage for the administrator to add users
• Deleting printers
• Handle URLs that refer one to another page
• File locking with Perl

Raphen:

Raphen has been working on learning Java AWT. He currently has an interface designed and implemented for log conversion, and is now working on making the buttons and menus do stuff.

Goals:

• Add event handling

Hilary:

Hilary has been working on a program to add annotations. She currently has it writing to a file.

Goals:

• Continue working on program
• Create a directory owned by HTTP

Sarah:

Gone for the weekend.
