Preliminaries

• Sorry about yesterday's meeting. It's probably best if we plan to have regular meetings only two or three days a week and just do informal meetings the other days.
• Sarah is stuck taking minutes again (according to our rotation schedule).

HyperWave Report

• I've set up a HyperWave account (hwserver) and group (hyperwav) on my machine (church).
• However, installation is not going smoothly. Right now, I run out of memory during installation.
• I'm trying installation on another machine (as myself) to see if that helps.

Annotation Report

• Hilary (and Sarah) has (have) found a host of resources for annotating pages. It may be that we don't need to create our own (although we may want to anyway).

CoNote, is an Annotation program developed at Cornell. "It allows a group of people to share a set of documents and to make comments about the documents..." It seems similar to what we are thinking about doing. http://dri.cornell.edu/pub/davis/annotation.html

PICS-SE system. The web site is basically a collection of papers about why annotation and their format in particular is really great. It was last updated April 1997, and there are no demos. http://www.kulturbox.de/aid/pics-se/
