Welcome to the online version of <em>Hypermedia 101: The Technology
and Its Implications</em>.  These are some of my 
(<a href="http://www.math.grin.edu/~rebelsky/">Sam Rebelsky</a>'s)
notes and essays on hypermedia technology and its effects on the
way we think, write, read, work, teach, and communicate.  This
site was created as a resource for a Fall 1999
<a href="http://www.math.grin.edu/~rebelsky/Courses/Tutorial/99F/Handouts/tutorial.html">tutorial</a> at
<a href="http://www.grinnell.edu">Grinnell College</a> entitled
<a href="http://www.math.grin.edu/~rebelsky/Courses/Tutorial/99F/">Hypermedia: The Technology and Its Implications</a>.  Eventually, I may turn these
essays into a book.

At now, this is more of a sketch than anything.  Eventually, it will
contain a number of short <a href="Essays/index.html">essays</a>,
a <a href="Glossary/index.html">glossary</a> of important terms,
and a set of annotated <a href="References/index.html">references</a>.

Note that these essays are more in the traditional <Q>linear</Q> form than 
in <Q>hypertext</Q> form.  I'll admit that I think there are many benefits
to the traditional linear form, some of which I will discuss in an essay.
