Hypermedia: Some Technology, Some Implications (Fall 1999)

Reading Assignment: Writing in High School vs. Writing in College

Assigned: Thursday, 26 August 1999
Read by: Tuesday, 31 August 1999

This semester, we'll be spending a good deal of time talking about writing. Hence, it is important that you begin tutorial by thinking about why we write, and what it means to write at the college level. You've already started to read ``Writing in College'' by Joseph Williams and Lawrence McEnerney. Finish reading that work. (If the service bureau has not yet returned copies to me, this assignment may be delayed.)

Note that you need not read Williams and McEnerney with the same intensity that you read our more technical readings.
