This Friday at 11 a.m. (yes, that's right, in our class), Chris Haynes, a Scheme guy from Univ. of Indiana (one of the other UofI's), will be talking about "Recent Progress in Programming Language Design: Functional and Object-Oriented Perspectives". Haynes will also be running a discussion on graduate school in CS at 4:15 and meeting with students at lunch. I strongly encourage you to attend all three things.
In celebration of April Fool's Day, we'll be trying to discuss Fun Programming Language Stuff
