Overview

Today, we will begin to map out our more in-depth plans for Monday's presentation, including order and timing of the individual pieces.

Notes

• I've thought about it, and I expect that few of you want another homework this term. I do expect you to try to keep up with the class materials, as you will need to know many of these topics in subsequent courses.
• While your solutions to HW4 were generally decent, there were also a number of problems that I observed that I think we should talk about. See the notes on assignment 4 for more details.
• Sorry about yesterday. I'd left some extra time next week (Wednesday) to talk about trees, and we'll use that as our wrapup on trees.
  • It's before noon, so I do expect most of you to attend.

Project

Monday is our presentation. Your goal is to make it look like you've accomplished a lot, even if you haven't accomplished everything you would like to have accomplished. We'll spend some time discussing the appropriate order of presentation. I'm happy to give an overview at the beginning, if you'd like. However, you are responsible for determining the overall structure of the presentation.
