Iowa Collegiate Mathematics Competition, 2003

The event

The ninth annual Iowa Collegiate Mathematics Competition was held at the University of Iowa on Saturday, April 5, 2003. A total of twenty-eight teams of two or three students each worked on a collection of ten problems for three hours, submitting written solutions.

Grinnell College fielded nine teams and two-thirds of a tenth:


The team of Jonathan Wellons, Ming Gu, and Rajendra Magar earned 88 points and tied for first place.

The team of Matthew Bond, Devdatta Kulkarni, and Raicho Bojilov earned 65 points and placed third.
